I appreciated the elegance of the Fairmont Royal York and the stunning Gold Experience. however, I encountered a few service hiccups. Check-in was slow and challenging after a long travel day, which detracted from my initial impression. The food offerings in the Gold Lounge could have been better for a hotel of this caliber.
